Complete Reflexology for Life Reviews

From An Email

Kevin,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I found your latest book so helpful that I bought a copy for my son for Christmas. Your book saved my life--literally. At 54 years old I was the sickest I have ever been these last six months and it was in November that I was browsing the shelves at Books a Million and saw your new release. I have tries accupunture in the past but thought the needles to intense and every book I looked at for accupressure came with warnings not to do it to yourself but to seek a professional so was put off trying it on my own. I didn't want to wait to go to a pro, I wanted to be able to have an effective strategy for self help at the time of the symptoms not days or weeks later. Then I read your book and it was so well thought out and presented, and it had self help routines, so I bought it and for the first time in months my symptoms eased, I am sleeping better, and my depression is lifting. I feel that I am on the road to recovery. My wife and I are using the book to help each other with ailments that go back decades, and your book is of such a tremendous benefit to our lives that I wanted to take a minute and tell you how much I am indebted to both of you for publishing such a wonderful book.

From a blog on the Internet

Having this past month off from blogging, gave me theİopportunity to investigate new publications on reflexology.

I've got to tell you folks, I was so impressed with this recently published reflexology reference book by Barbara & Kevin Kunz, that I felt the need to share it with you. I own several of their other publications; however, the beauty of this particular book, is the fact that it's like an encyclopedia of most of their works combined. Not only does it contain information on foot reflexology, but also hand reflexology as well.

It blew me away!

The illustrations and information are clear, precise, and easy to understand. Not only is it beneficial for the novice, but also the professional as well. It definately taught me a plethora of some newİknowledge!

As a professional... I highly recommendİinvestigating this book. You can eitherİpurchase it at your local bookstore, or you can visit Barbara & Kevin; where they can direct you on how to orderİit online.

It's one of those books you'll be able to use for the rest of your life!

So enjoy it...and be well.

I have searched reflexology books for years and have purchased many. This is the best book on reflexology on the market! It includes both hands and feet with detailed descriptions and easy to follow healing techniques. The pictures make it easy to pinpoint locations on the feet and hands.

Do not hesitate, this book is worth the purchase!!

The Kunz's have again produced a book that is colorful, easy to use and full of informattion with pictures and charts that are easy to follow. This book contains not only information for foot and hand reflexology, but I like the section on reflexology for every life stage especially.

It gives the professional clear information for helping people where ever they are in life. They give clear instructions for self-help which I find helps the client become a partner with me as the reflexologist.

Well designed

This book was exactly what I was looking for, a well designed practical guide with great photographs and instructions. The book also seemed to be well researched, and did not over extend itself, something that other books on reflexology appeared to do.

Prior to buying this book I didn't know anything about reflexology. I only had a positive experience from receiving treatments. After going through this book I now know a bit more. The book is informative enough when you know nothing to begin with. Other than that, I can't really judge. For me it was a good introduction to the subject.

Yoga Magazine, October 2007

If you only do ONE thing this month... pinch yourself.

Suffering from seasonal stress? Help is at hand - quite literally - in the form of gentle, self administered reflexology.İ Next time you're feeling jittery, try pinching the skin between your thumb and index finger firmly for several seconds. Rest, then repeat "This is an easy way to work the solar plexus, which as a major impact on stress and anxiety" explain Barbara and Kevin Kunz, authors of Complete Reflexology for Life (DK, £18.99). "The solar plexus is known as the 'second brain' because of it's effect on the nervous system" they say.İ "It's linked to the diaphragm, which controls breathing and tension in the abdomen". If you're still not feeling Zen, try this one.İ Grasp one thumb, so it's enclosed by the fingers, then pull gently for a few seconds. Move on to the fingers, before repeating with the other hand. Guaranteed to leave you calm, however frazzled everyone else around you gets.
