Pacemakers and reflexology
My mom is 80 years old had pacemaker put in because
she was suffering from irregular heart beat and dizziness. She believes in
reflexology, can she receive regular reflexology after having the pacemaker
placed in her body?
NellieWe
haven't heard any negative reports about pacemakers. No research I am afraid to
say one way or another. I have never had a problem with my pacemaker
clients. Reflexology
will be a positive stressor in most situations. The practitioner should never be
too aggressive. Also it is always best if the doctor knows she is having it down
and is informed of any
changes. A friend of
mine actually found a problem with a pacemaker and brought it to the doctor's
attention. apparently it was defective and she could tell there was a great deal
of strain going on. Hope
that helps. Thank you for your
query.All the
best,Kevin

not know much about reflexology. Your suggestions are appreciated, my name is

articles or web sites that show the positive results in cases where patients
with pacemakers received reflexology successfully? Thanks, Nellie
