Gut problem
I have a client who has several problems but the
main one I feel is her gut problem as it upsets her.
I have a client who has
several problems but the main one I feel is her gut problem as it upsets her.
She is going to a homeopathic who has started to treat her for Candida, she has
terrible indigestion and has to burp quite often to relieve the symptoms, she has
been in hospital for pneumonia and has osteoporosis, she has a swollen stomach
and nothing seems to get rid of it, she has erratic sleep problems and eating
habits. I try to encourage her to eat at regular times but as she doesn't get up
until lunch time it is quite difficult. My question is what should I work on to
help sort something out, should it be her intestines or something else? She is
an elderly client but has a young outlook on life and tries to sort herself out
without going to the
doctors.JacquelineSounds
like tension may be part of the formula. Digestion is often shut down when there
is enough tension to cause a flight or flight reaction. Accident, injury,
prolonged illness and emotional stress may work in combination to cause the
myriad of problems. I find the solar plexus and endocrine glands reflex areas
important to emphasize in this
situation. Sounds like
you are going to have to look at this pragmatically. It is going to take a fair
amount of technique application to cause a shift in the ANS. The Chinese have
great success because they particularly focus on the frequency issue. They do
two week courses of technique application. This often is a combination of
practitioner, family help and self
help. So the question is
how easy is this to accomplish. Can you recruit family members apply techniques
you show them? Is she willing to apply self
help? I always try to
think is terms of frequency, duration and strength of signal. It means how
frequently is technique applied, how long is it applied and how hard is it
applied. These are factors important in gauging whether she will see the outcome
she seeks. Hope this
helps. Thank you for your
query. All the
best, Kevin
