Infertility and Reflexology
Is there more where I can
read both about treating and being treated
for
infertility?
Hi
I am very
interested in this both for personal reasons and
professionally.
Is
there more where I can read both about treating and being treated
for
infertility. I
have been practicing for 3 years and am about to
start
fertility
treatment - and am also treating some patients and am keen
to
learn more
techniques or particular points that I can
combine.
Kind
regards

There
is a lot of research recently making a strong tie to stress particularly high
levels of cortisol. So besides the very important reproductive organs there are
the adrenal glands which produces cortisol. Working the pituitary/hypothalamus
important as these organs are involved in this axis. (HPA axis) They also impact
reproduction.
The solar
plexus is also important for relaxing tension. But consider any technique from a
foot bath to rolling your feet on a roller as good for reducing the overall
level of background tension we all feel. I also like leg traction as it not only
reduces stress and decompresses the feet and legs but also opens up the
areas associated with the fallopian tubes and
groin.
Hope that
helps. Thank you for your
query.
All the
best,
Kevin
